After becoming a member of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, I sailed Dragons in Hong Kong since 1972 with our first Dragon, a red wooden beauty called "Teenloong" --translated 'Heavenly Dragon'-- built in Hong Kong in the latter half of the 1940's.
Since the Worlds in Geelong over 20 years ago, my husband and I have tried to do at least one International Dragon race every year, even though it often means travelling to Europe every summer, since most of the Dragon International races take place there.
I am also on committees for the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and our National authority, Hong Kong Sailing Federation.
Sailing Dragons in Hong Kong and around the World is a rewarding, inspiring, and humbling experience, but being with other Dragon sailors, from wherever they may be, is lifelong. I wish the journey would never end, but alas, it will one day.

Vasily Senatorov
Was born in 1955 and has sailed since 1972, the last 7 years in Dragons.
His home club is Pirogovo to the North of Moscow. He sails all the major International regattas.
Vasily is also involved in sailing life in Russia as the publisher of the most important sailing magazine YACHT Russia and is a member of the board of governors of the All Russian sailing federation.
